Q: How do I apply to the LEED Scholars Program?
A: The LEED Scholars Program application is only available as a downloadable file on the LEED Scholars program website. You must download the file, complete it, and return it via U.S. mail. There is NO application fee.
What are the deadlines for the UW Madison undergraduate and LEED Scholars Program applications?
A: You should apply to UW Madison as early as possible but no later than February 1. The deadline for applying to the LEED Scholars Program is March 15. Please keep in mind that this is a separate application process.
Q: Must I be accepted to UW Madison before I can apply to the LEED Scholars Program?
A: No, you may apply to the programs simultaneously. However, you must be accepted to UW Madison and the College of Engineering before you can be accepted into the LEED Scholars Program.
Did you receive all of my information?
A: We will carefully monitor your file. If we do not receive all necessary information, we will contact you via email. Applicants are responsible for making sure all supporting documentation reaches are office.
Q: May persons other than me (i.e., parent, counselor, etc.) call to find out my application status.
A: Because we favor applicants who demonstrate leadership and initiative, the applicant should initiate any communication with our office. Email is the preferred method of communicating with our office.
Q: How will I know if I have been admitted to the LEED Scholars Program?
A: You will receive written notification of the admissions committee decision no later than April 15.
