The Diversity Affairs Office, in partnership with the UW-Madison Medical School and Rufus King High School, sponsors PREP Summer Science Academy (Pride-Responsibility-Excellence-Preparation) for four weeks. The program is designed to expose 9th and 10th grade students to math, chemistry, physics and computer science. DAO believes that this Milwaukee-based Summer Science Academy will serve as a feeder to the Engineering Summer Program (ESP) and other campus-wide pre-college programs designed to prepare women and students of color to pursue the degree of their choice, including, science and engineering degree at UW-Madison. All costs are covered by the sponsoring institutions.
