Can a BS degree in engineering apply to other graduate work?
A BS degree in a traditional branch of engineering can be used as the
basis for graduate work in other disciplines. With careful planning,
an engineering degree provides an excellent foundation for further
graduate studies in fields such as the physical sciences, business,
law or medicine.
The most popular advanced degree pursued by engineering students is the
MBA (Master's degree in Business Administration). Typically,
engineering students can qualify for an MBA program without taking
special course work outside their chosen majors.
