What high school courses should I take for admission to the College of Engineering?

To successfully graduate from high school and enroll in the College of Engineering, you should have completed one unit each of algebra and plane geometry, two units of advanced mathematics, one unit each of chemistry and physics, at least two units of a foreign language, and four units of English. Additional credits should be in liberal studies such as economics, political science, or literature. Computer science (programming) experience is useful. Please check the summary of course preparation in the Undergraduate Viewbook.

Deficiencies in math or in other subjects can be made up through correspondence courses, attendance at a summer session, or at another campus. Students are encouraged to make up deficiencies before enrolling for their first regular semester, or graduation might be delayed.
