Items required for complete application:

  1. Completed UW Special Student Application Form. Print the application form and send it to us with the rest of your application materials.

  2. Official academic records from your university in Chile.
  3. Three letters of recommendation from teachers or employers, or others familiar with your professional development.
  4. A written statement describing your professional objectives and proposed plan of study at UW (Indicate whether you have communicated with any professors at UW about your proposed program).
  5. A statement describing your English competence. (If you have taken TOEFL or any other test, please provide your score. If your English language ability is not yet adequate to allow participation in classes, please describe your plans for preparatory language study prior to the scholarship program).

Note: UW hopes to award 2-4 Neale-Silva Scholarships each year. These awards will be given around March 21st.
