There is no doubt that taking courses at the University of Wisconsin Madison can be an enriching experience.
That being said, one cannot study all the time.
Luckily for students at the UW, the greater Madison area presents a host of opportunities for rest, relaxation, and fun.
You will find that there are a wide variety of shops, bars and restaurants on and around campus, and that the nearby State Street is a great spot to take a walk, listen to live music, or go out with your friends at night.
The University also offers many recreational opportunities and athletic facilities for students looking to have fun and stay healthy.
