College of Engineering Study Abroad Programs

YOU can study in France! Spend 7 weeks in Toulouse, France, getting UW engineering credits while experiencing the French culture.

Program Details

Location: Toulouse, France
Affiliated Institution: ENSICA (École Nationale SupÉrieure d'IngÉnieurs de Constructions AÉronautiques)
Program Dates: Approximately June 4, 2008 — July 20, 2008
Language of Instruction: English
Courses: EMA 202 (Dynamics) and EPD 397 (Technical Communication)
Total Credits: 6
Prerequisites: Math 222, EMA 201, EPD 155
Trips/Excursions: Guided tour of Toulouse, industrial visits (including Airbus) and cultural visits (to be determined)
Housing: On-campus dormitory. Single rooms/shared bath. Ethernet connection available.
Meals: On-campus cafeteria. Two meals a day.
Cost: Approximately $3900 includes tuition, housing, 2 meals a day/weekdays, health insurance, ENSICA ID card, and excursions. Scholarships are available.
Priority deadline: December 21, 2007, and after that date until the program is filled.
