Is there a degree program in architecture?

Not at UW-Madison. A degree in architecture is offered at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, as well as at many other schools. Pre-architecture courses are available at Madison. Since the orientation of architecture schools differs--varying from highly artistic to highly technical--students should consult the bulletin of the architectural school of their choice. Professors in mechanical engineering can suggest courses that would be appropriate to specific schools. Engineering-oriented pre-architecture students might consider enrolling in the College of Engineering. Artistically, socially, or business-oriented pre-architecture students should enroll elsewhere.
