What does an engineering education include?

An engineering education is quite appropriate in our modern technological society. It provides a thorough background in mathematics, the physical sciences and engineering principles, as well as the application of these fundamentals to problems encountered in engineering practice. In addition, the curriculum includes an introduction to liberal studies and to interactions between technology and society.
