Can I study engineering and prepare for medical school?

Pre-Med/Pre-Health-Professions Studies and Engineering

The biomedical engineering curriculum meets most of the course admissions requirements for the UW Medical School and other health profession schools. With early planning and several extra courses, you may incorporate pre-health-professions requirements into other engineering majors. You should meet regularly with your engineering advisor and a pre-health-professions advisor on campus. Because admission requirements vary among professional schools, look carefully at the websites of your schools of interest.
