Must I choose an engineering field when I apply for admission?

Many students are admitted as EGR students with an intended major in a specific undergraduate field of engineering. If you are uncertain where your interests lie, you may be admitted as an EGR student with a general classification. If you are undecided, or if you change your mind about the branch of engineering you want or even about engineering itself, you may change your program during the first two or three semesters without difficulty.
