May I begin my engineering study at another campus of the University of Wisconsin System, or elsewhere, without loss of time or credits?

Generally yes, if you are careful to choose courses that are equivalent to those specified in the curriculum for your intended branch of engineering, as described in the latest College of Engineering Bulletin. If you are a student at one of the other campuses in the University of Wisconsin System, you can still take EGR courses. You should talk to the UW-Madison College of Engineering representative who annually visits other UW System campuses to help potential transfer students plan their programs so that they will make optimal progress toward an engineering degree.
