If you have questions about your transfer application or admission status, please contact Bonnie Schmidt.
On-Campus Transfers
Students currently attending UW-Madison, who are not currently in the College of Engineering and who would like to transfer their declared major into the College of Engineering.
Off-Campus Transfers
- Within the University of Wisconsin System
  Students currently attending a university within the University of Wisconsin System wishing to transfer to the UW-Madison, College of Engineering.
- Outside the University of Wisconsin System
  Students currently attending any university outside the University of Wisconsin System who want to transfer to the UW-Madison College of Engineering.
- International Transfers
  Documents and links especially for students entering UW-Madison College of Engineering who are not U.S. citizens.
Project Lead the Way
The College of Engineering Transfer Credit Policy for Project Lead the Way explains transfer credits from universities affiliated with Project Lead the Way.
Returning Adult Students
Adults returning to formal education and/or considering a career change to engineering.
Re-Entry Students
Students who want to return to UW-Madison, College of Engineering must be in good academic standing. Students who have been dropped from the College of Engineering and want to return must be readmitted by the Academic Dean. We do not consider for reentry admission, students who are having academic difficulties in another college on campus.
