New to UW-Madison? The University Communication office has a Campus Slide Show you might enjoy as an introduction to the campus.
International students entering the College of Engineering must have met the Communications "A" requirement. If you are transferring from outside the U.S., you must have a TOEFL score of 250 or more. These students will be required to take the Engineering Professional Development course EPD 155 to satisfy the Communications "A" requirement for the College of Engineering campus. Students transferring from schools within the U.S. must have a course equivalent to our English 100. These courses will be reviewed on a course-by-course basis. Students may be required to take an English course here to meet the Communications "A" requirement. Upon admission to UW-Madison, consult the helpful links and list of next steps on the Admitted Students website provided by the Office of Admissions. After arriving on campus, make use of the Student Orientation Handbook and take part in Wisconsin Welcome. During the semesters ahead, be sure to take full advantage of the many engineering student services, organizations, and events. Contact Bonnie Schmidt for questions you may have about transferring to the UW-Madison, College of Engineering. |
